Shipping Policy
Shipping
Each item on your order will be charged and shipped out to you, as soon as it is available in our warehouse or as specified in your order.
Please ensure that your shipping address details are correct, as they are copied directly from the information you give us when submitting your order. We are not responsible for orders with incorrect or missing information should they not reach you.
You have a choice of shipping methods. Please be aware that the following delivery times are included as guidelines and actual delivery will depend on stock availability.
Shipping options
There are two options open to you when choosing your shipping method.
The first is the Complete shipping option - where you wait for all your items to be available and they will then be shipped to you altogether in one delivery. This is the cheaper option, but may involve a slightly longer wait for your goods.
Alternatively you can choose the Immediate shipping option - which means you will be sent the items as soon as they become available and therefore they may arrive in more than one delivery. Although this is more expensive, you will not have to wait for books that are ready to be shipped if you have ordered one item that is currently out of stock.
If you are ordering just one item the shipping defaults to the cheaper complete option.
UK Standard Delivery
This will be despatched with free delivery, for orders over £15, via standard 2nd class UK mail. We would advise that packages sent by this method are usually received within two to five working days from despatch.
Delivery Costs
UK deliveries Orders placed via Standard Delivery will be shipped to you postage free as long as the products ordered have a value of £15 or above.
Complete
Delivery of items below £15 is as follows:
• First class - £2.50 for the first item, then 50p per additional item
• Second class - £1.50 for the first item, then 50p per additional item
• Courier delivery of goods under £15 has a standard charge of £4.99
All UK deliveries of goods over £15 carry no shipping charge, unless you chose first class or courier delivery.
Immediate
• First class - £2.50 per item
• Second class - £1.50 per item
• Courier delivery £4.99 per item UK Interlink Courier
This method is fully secure and we can track and trace the order for you. Orders placed by this method should reach you on the following working day, though there may be delays. We will endeavour to ensure that goods leave our fulfilment centre on the day the order is received, providing the item is in stock or on the same day the goods reach us from our suppliers. However, goods despatched after 3pm may not be collected until the following day. Please note that goods despatched on a Friday will normally be delivered on the following Monday. Goods despatched on Saturday or Sunday will normally be delivered on the following Tuesday. Orders sent via this method will require a signature upon receipt.
Standard Overseas Surface Mail
You will be charged a shipping cost for each item placed on your order. Upon entering the shipping country, deliveries will enter the postal system of the country concerned. It is our experience that goods delivered using this method arrive within seven to 14 days of despatch for European destinations, and within 12 to 24 days of despatch for the rest of the world.
Overseas Courier Delivery
You will be charged a shipping cost for each item placed on your order. Orders will be despatched using DHL Business Post. This method is fully secure, and we can track and trace the shipment for you. Orders placed by this method should reach you within two to three days of despatch for European destinations, and within three to five days of despatch for the rest of the world. Orders sent via this method will require a signature upon receipt.
Overseas deliveries
Owing to the many different combinations of items that may form an order, it is difficult to offer a universal shipping cost.
If you wish to find out the delivery costs for a specific order, you may wish to place all the required items into your Shopping basket and proceed to the Checkout page.
There is no obligation to buy at this point, but you can glance at the shipping costs by the various shipping methods. If you wish to go ahead with the purchase, you may then submit your order.
